2. What
is anonymous FTP?
Anonymous FTP allows any user to FTP to your domain to
upload or to download files.
We urge that you take precautions when doing this as, even
though unintentional, you would be responsible for the content.
3. Will
I be able to allow telnet or ssh into my site?
No, due to security reasons this is not available.
Contact customer service for assistance.
4. Can I use
FrontPage to publish to my site?
Yes, you can. However, when using FrontPage
to publish your site, use only FrontPage. Allowing programs
other than FTP into your site could corrupt the file extension
on FrontPage.
5. How do
I use server side includes (SSI)?
Our servers are set up to parse SSI from the
HTML. Use the file extension shtml when using SSI.
6. Do you
support cold fusion and/or ASP?
At this time no, but if you are interested
in this type of service please contact us and let us know.
We are considering these services with new server upgrades.
7. What is
the path for Perl?
/usr/bin/perl
8. I have
received the confirmation E-mail stating my site was set up,
but when I type in the URL it's not there, why?
It normally take up to 72 hours for
the domain pointers to propagate the network.
If there are problems with your domain account,
the registrar with whom you registered may not be releasing
it. You will need to contract them to resolve any issues
with your domain name.
